Besides having no internet this last week, we were also down 2 girls for most of the week. Kylie was gone all week from Sunday night till today when I picked her up. She was a counselor at Science Camp for 6th graders. She did it last year too and she really enjoys it. She is glad to be home though. She can't wait to sleep in her own bed tonight.
Kelsie left Monday morning to go on a 3 day backpacking trip with her school class. They hiked about 12 miles between the 3 days and had to carry all of their food, sleeping bag, tent & everything else. Here she is the morning she left...
She survived! Here she is when I picked her up at school. Much lighter pack! She got to go straight to a basketball game from here too. She wasn't too happy I made her go, but atleast they won!
When she put on her much smaller backpack the next morning to go to school, she said, "I love you backpack." Much lighter and smaller than the one she had been carrying for 3 days. It was pretty funny!

the trip was s much fun but i was REALLY tired afterwards!!!!!

hey Kels try backpacking all week with a 50 lbs backpack.thats always fun. anywhos ya i had a fun week and was ready in a way but not ready to come home. :) i pigged out on so much candy. my stomach still kinda hurts. im glad i was gone cause i woulda died sitting home with no internet.
How fun! Do you remember backpacking for 3 days up at girls camp? I wish they did more of that now days. FUN!
