The YW in the ward went repelling on Saturday morning. It was a little intimidating for some of them, but they all did awesome. Kelsie volunteered to be the first one to do it and she made it look too easy. I was not there, but Nate was. Here is Kelsie going and a view of what they went down.
You have to just step off backwards and trust your ropes.

And here's Kelsie and Nate starting to race going down. Kelsie had already done it once and Nate wasn't quite sure he was comfortable. You can tell by his face. He got a nice rope burn on his arm that is still bothering him trying so hard to beat Kels. :)

Those are great pics. I love that look on Kelsie's face as she's looking at Nate. She already knows she has him beat.
HOLY CRAP this was one of the scariest things of my life. it was so much fun after you trust the rope but that takes a little bit to build up trust with a rope. :)This might be one of the things you only have to do once in your life. and your good.

it was SOOOOOO much fun!!! after i volunteered to go first, i said to myself, "what did i just get myself into?!?!?" but it was fun!!! especially competeing against my dad!!!
