We have had such a busy week that I forgot I was going to post about our Stake Conference on Sunday. With birthdays, birthday parties, in-laws here, making birthday presents, wedding gifts, mother's Day things, activity days, Renaissance Fair costumes, we have been busy!!
We had Stake Conference on Sunday and instead of going 40 minutes to our stake center, we go 10 minutes to our building and watch it on a big screen via the internet. My FIL is a Stk Pres. in UT, so was anxious to find out how that is done. Well, with some problems in the feed, he opted not to find out how that was done. We missed some of the talks due to the sound. But the biggest thing was the BAT flying around in the chapel during the meeting. Yes, a BAT!! It would fly through the chapel, through the overflow and into the gym. Fly around in there and back to the chapel. The lights were all off, but there was still lots of light from the windows. It was pretty amusing! It finally did land on some girl and she got it onto the floor and her Dad took off his jacket and picked it up with that to take it outside. Well, he walked out and thought he had the bat, but didn't. The girl picked it up with her hands and took it outside. Crazy girl!! I bet none of you have ever had that exciting of a Stake Conference.
